Spicy Applesauce

So Nana and Grandad are here to visit this weekend. We are eating lunch this afternoon and, as usual, Katelin asks for applesauce.

Nana gets her a bowl..."are you sure this is still OK?"
"It's fine...she's been eating it all week," I say.
Katelin proceeds to eat her applesauce and says, "...it's a little bit spicy."
I think to myself...you know, it's been a while since I've opened a new jar.
Taste test...Sure enough, Katelin has been eating Flemmons' famous fermented applesauce all week!! No WONDER she has been acting so good!!

The funniest part...when I took the fermented applesauce away for fear of causing early onset cirrhosis, Katelin threw a big fit saying, "I like spicy applesauce!!"
