Meg and I went away to Lake Tahoe last week for a great vacation. We stayed in this Inn called West Shore Cafe. We were the only guests for the week and got the royal treatment. Each morning they served us fresh waffles, croissants, muffins, fruit, homemade granola and maple yogurt...all in our own private dining room with the best view of the lake. We skied at Squaw Valley the first day, Alpine Meadows the second, then drove around the lake and hiked a bit to a historic mansion "Vikingsholm" in Emerald Bay. Our last day we skied just across the street from our Inn at Homewood...without question the best views while skiing. Thanks to the grandparents for keeping the kids!!
