My dad had to have his aortic valve replaced a couple of weeks ago. The surgery went great and he is now back home feeling better than before the surgery. Here are some pics of us the day before his surgery hanging out with fam. Katelin and Keslyn sure do love their grandad!!It was so awesome to see the support of our family as they came from across the state to sit with us in the waiting room. Mema, Pa, Sandra (dad's sis), Charlie (dad's bro), Herb (mom's bro). My cousin Brian even came in from San Antonio after a long day at work to hang out with us.
It was amazing to see and feel the love and support of what seemed like the whole town of La Grange in the waiting room. There were about 18-20 of us taking up the waiting room, waiting for hours. I appreciate everone that prayed for my dad and mom as they went through this. It truly was a blessing to be around everyone during that stressful waiting time.
