Week 2 was a long week. We have been having frequent doctor visits because Tye is not back to his birth weight yet. We went three days last week and have been trying pretty much everything to get him to gain weight. This weekend was an every two hour feeding frenzy to try and get his weight up by his visit tomorrow. (Can you say exhausting??) Our sweet back-door neighbor, Krystal Revai, is a pediatrician who specializes in lactation stuff and has gone out of her way several times to help out. She has done may house calls, snuck us in the back door of the clinic for weights, and done many phone consults with us numerous times on how to get Tye up and running. Thanks Krystal!!!
My parents came on Tuesday and were here through Friday. They had to leave a little early to be with my sister, Kari. The weekend that Tye was born, Kari found out that she was pregnant. The next Monday, she went to the Ob and the ultrasound showed that there was no baby in her uterus. Friday, she went in for emergency surgery due to it being an ectopic pregnancy and they had to remove her last tube. Please keep Kari, Brian, and Keslyn in your prayers. This is their third ectopic pregnancy on top of many miscarriages. Just a very emotional time for the family.
Katelin loves to help in any way she can. Here she is "helping" me carry Tye out for one of our many doctor visits.
...did I mention that Katelin loves her "baby Tyeee"
We also had some sweet friends visit through the week. Here is Catherine getting her some Tye love.

Hey guys! I think Tye is so cute! I will be praying that he will gain weight and stay healthy. We will have to come see him soon.
Take care,
Alison
I hadn't "visited" y'all in awhile. Tye is sooo cute. I loved seeing the Potter's-three! Good to see Kaherine's pretty face, too! Hope Tye is getting a healthier appetite!
