Bavaria

We are now officially proud owners of a San Antonio hillside retreat!!

Kelly was our nanny for the year in Durham. We found her on Craig's List and she worked out great. She got to use her masters in Organic Chemistry to teach Katelin how to bake brownies!! She took this kids to story time and music class every week and played many games of hide and seek. She even knitted the kids their birthday and Christmas presents!! The kids are sure going to miss Kelly... Thanks for all of the help this year!!

Tye's new look

Beauty and the Beast

Last weekend we took Katelin to see Broadway's "Beauty and the Beast."

Today the kids' had their faces painted at a foundation benefit for kids. They fit the part...

Last Durham weekend...

Last weekend was our last "free" weekend before our move to Texas. We took full advantage of the time and went to a Durham Bulls game with our Summit small group.

We also went to Pinehurst to visit our friends when we lived there four years ago.

We had lunch with our pastor from our church when we lived in Pinehurst.

Our good friends Jason, Pam and Levi Anderson.

Tye and Katelin had a blast riding Levi's John Deere tractor.

Memorial Day

Meg and I had the day off so the Flemmons family spent the day at Duke Gardens...

Katelin wanted to play frizbee. She said "frizb it to me daddy." We frizbed the frizbee and kicked the soccer ball until we were frizbed out!!

Katelin and Tye feeding their "duckie friends" as Katelin calls them. Tye could not wait to feed the ducks. He was so cute packing up all of the picnic stuff, getting out the bread and carrying it all the way to the pond.
