Milestones

We hit a huge milestone in the last month...Katelin is officially potty trained!!! When it comes to poo-poo and tee-tee, she is an expert. Oh the things we look forward to in life...

Juliet 12/8/1996 - 6/16/2008

Miss Piggy, Little Bit, "Dadattt", Juliet

No matter what you called her, Juliet was a great dog. My mom gave me Juliet as a graduation present when I was a Tech. She moved with me to Galveston for med school. She welcomed Meghan as part of the family and was Meghan's first dog. She moved with us to NC. She proved that you can teach an old dog new tricks by learning how to roll over at the age of 10. She loved her daily morning frosted mini-spooners. She went on several walks and camping trips. She was lost 3 times, but always found her way back home. She suffered a broken pelvis, but somehow made a quick recovery. She loved Katelin and Tye and let them tug at her and kiss on her without ever running away. She will be greatly missed by the Flemmons family...

Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday: Morning with Nana and Grandad
Katelin and Tye finally got their Easter presents. Tye was born the day before Easter, so we were a little busy and didn't get to have an Easter egg hunt or give out presents. Nana was nice enough to bring presents, but we never got around to giving them to Katelin and Tye. They will never know the difference. It is Easter year-round at the Flemmons'!!

John and Erica Anderson took a study break and met us at the pool. John actually still studied (nerd!!)...his step 1 USMLE boards are this Thursday, so he has actually did have an excuse...sorry, no pics of them.

Ryan, Angie, and Abigail Gibbons met us there. Abigail and Katelin are such good buddies. As you can see Abigail is the shy one.

Please pray for the Gibbons family...exciting stuff in their family. They just brought home a new little girl, Mily. She turned a week old on Sunday. Ryan and Angie are in the process of adopting her from her birth mother. Such an answered prayer for both families.
